The Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw has existed as an independent unit of the University of Warsaw since 1969. Numerous external evaluations of our activities, grants and national and international awards, won by MIM employees and doctoral students - confirm that we are able to combine high-quality education with research in close contact with world science. We also consider shaping the mathematical and IT culture through popularizing activities and cooperation with scientific and socio-economic entities from Poland and abroad as part of our mission.
